Hi, I'm Irene — I'm so glad you're here.
I'm a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) and a Certified Perinatal Mental Health specialist (PMH-C), with a Master's in Clinical Community Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and over 12 years of experience walking alongside people through life's hardest — and most tender — seasons.
I work with individuals, couples, and families — children, teens, and adults — and I hold specialized experience in the perinatal population (pregnancy, postpartum, loss, and the enormous identity shift of becoming a parent), the adoption/foster community, and those dealing with trauma, anxiety, and depression.
My style is warm, genuine, and deeply nonjudgmental. I'll meet you exactly where you are, and together we'll gently move toward the places that feel hard to face — the ones that, once faced, finally let you move forward. You bring your story; I'll hold a safe, steady space for all of it.
